Dec, 12Teddy Bear sleepoverChildren from ages 3 to 10 are invidted to bring one teddy bear to the Guilford Smith Memorial Library, 17 Main St., South Windham at 4:30 p.m. for stories, songs and other teddy bear activities. Then the bears (only) will camp out overnight in a tent in the library. Children may rejoin their bears at 10:30 a.m., Saturday for more stories and a snack. Call 423-5159.
Dec, 12Holiday ConcertHOLIDAY CONCERT 7:00 p.m. The Babcock Library will be hosting a Holiday Music performance by the Nutmeg String Trio. This program is appropriate for an audience of all ages. Dec, 13Breakfast with SantaCoventry High School Project Graduation is hosting a Pancake Breakfast with Santa from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the Coventry High School Cafeteria. Dec, 13Bake saleThe Friends of the Willington Library will hold a holiday bake sale in the Reading Room from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Homemade cookies,cakes and candy will be available for purchase as well as some gift items and gently used books. Donations can be brought to the library on Friday from 11-5pm and early Sat. morning.
