Chaffe House on 183 Summit Street in Willimantic. The Victorian Parlors will be open to the public and will feature traditional holiday decorations, refreshments, and traditions from the Victorian era. Admission is $7.00. Dec, 14Holiday ConcertThe acclaimed a cappella ensemble Take Note! will perform a benefit concert to help local homeless people have a warm place to sleep at 4:00 p.m. at the Storrs Congregational Church, on the corner of Route 195 and North Eagleville Road in Storrs.
Dec, 14Live Nativity SceneThe Youth Ministry of the First Congregational Church of Windham is holding its annual Live Nativity on Sunday, Dec. 14. Begins at 5:00 p.m. with a soup and sandwich supper, followed by Christmas caroling and decorating in the church, and the Live Nativity begins outdoors in the church yard at 6:30 p.m. Hot chocolate and cookies follow in Fellowship Hall. Supper is free, but please call to reserve seating or for more information, 423-7197. Please bring a non-perishable food item for a local food pantry.
