Jan, 29AARP Driving courseThe course is offered at Creamery Brook at 36 Vina Lane, Brooklyn on January 29 and 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The 8-hour course, offered in two 4-hour classes, covers the normal changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time associated with aging, and provides practical techniques to adjust for these changes with an emphasis on safety strategies. There are no written, physical, or on-the-road driving tests. Participants may qualify for a discount on their auto liability insurance. The fee is only $14, and includes all materials. Although membership in AARP is not required, AARP members receive a $2 discount – you must bring your AARP membership card to the class.
