| Jul, 29 | Embroidary Demonstration | Julie Carlos will demonstrate tatting, boutis (French embroidery), Normandy lace and twine rugs at the Jonathan Trumbull Jr. House from noon - 4 p.m. She will be joined by her daughter who will demonstrate tatting. Visitors can also try their hand at writing with colonial quill pens with student demonstrators. New England coverlets are also on display. The museum is located at 780 Trumbull Highway, Route 87, Lebanon. Admission is free. Call 642-7987. |

| Jul, 31 | Mapping the Past | The Lebanon Historical Society is offering a series of programs for children, with a program on maps starting from 11 a.m. to noon. Children will investigate old maps of Lebanon and experiment with compasses and measuring chains to follow a “treasure” map. Program is for children in grades 1, 2 and 3. Materials cost $1.
