| Oct, 7 | Mommy and Me Luncheon | MOMMY & ME LUNCHEONS
Windham Hospital offers a Mommy and Me Luncheon, a social support network for mothers and their infants (age up to 9 months). The group meets twice a month, the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m, in the Windham Hospital Education Center. Women living in the Windham Hospital service area and their children up to age 9 months are welcome to attend. There is a $5 fee which will be waived for anyone with state insurance or receiving assistance from WIC. To register, contact 456.6896.

| Oct, 7 | AMERICCORPS/PEACE CORPS | Eastern Connecticut State University’s Office of Community Service presents an AmeriCorps/Peace Corps panel discussion from 3 to 4 p.m. in Webb Hall 110. The public is invited. Admission is free. Panel participants include recruiters from AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and students who have served in the organizations. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions about the programs and learn what it takes to become an AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer.
