Parents are invited to bring their kids to a safe environment at 5 p.m. where they can interact with board games, face painting, food, and other fun activities. Main Street area merchants and businesses distribute candy to children for a safe and fun Halloween. Main Street will be closed at this time. Free. Oct, 31Trunk or TreatTRUNK OR TREAT The Canterbury Elementary School PTO is looking for individuals and groups to host car trunks at the 2nd annual Trunk or Treat event, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Canterbury Town Hall. Children will enjoy going from trunk to trunk to receive pre-packaged candy from costumed car owners. All cars are welcome, but must be properly registered to participate. Oct, 31Trunk or TreatTRUNK OR TREAT Mansfield Community Center, 10 South Eagleville Road, Storrs from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Join us for an early evening of fun including games, activities and some trick-a-trunking. All activities are free for all of our surrounding community. Trick-A-Trunk is part of our Halloween party where area youths trick or treat around a blocked off parking lot that is filled with cars where volunteers set up shop handing out treats to our costumed kiddies.
