Abundant Life Community Church, 980 Main Street, hosts FUN SUITE, a Halloween alternative. Parents are invited to bring their kids to a safe environment at 5 p.m. where they can interact with board games, face painting, food, and other fun activities. Join paranormal enthusiasts to examine findings of paranormal investigations conducted at the Textile Museum, The Railroad Museum, the Haunted Church and the Elks Club. To benefit the Windham Textile Museum, the New England Railroad Museum and the Elks Lodge. The Connecticut State Museum of Natural History and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at UConn present a special hayride and barn tour from 10 am to noon, rain or shine. Jump aboard the hay wagon for a special guided tour of UConn’s world-class agricultural operations. $18 or $12 for Museum members, and includes a coupon for ice cream. Advance registration is required. This program is for adults and children ages 5 and above. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
