Nov, 15Open House and Library HistoryOPEN HOUSE AND LIBRARY HISTORY The Columbia Historical Society and The Saxton B. Little Free Library will host a presentation by William Hosley, museum scholar, preservationist and photographer at 2 p.m. at Yeomans Hall, Rte 87, Columbia. Preceding the meeting an Open House will be held at the Meeting Place {old library} at 1 p.m. with a tour led by Noreen Steele continuing on to the current Saxton B. Little Library with a tour led by Carol Kubala till 1:45. Mr. Hosley will trace almost 200 years in American library practice with a special focus on Connecticut Libraries and a special segment on our own Saxton B. Little Library.
