Nov, 27Wreath SaleWREATHE SALE The Hebron Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. will be holding its fourth annual Wreath and Poinsettia Sale on the two weekends following Thanksgiving — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 27, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 29. Decorated and undecorated wreaths, Christmas cactus and 4.5- to 8-inch potted plant poinsettias will be for sale. Also antique fire truck T-shirts and reflective 911 address signs will be available. Proceeds will be used to continue the support of Hebron’s Engine 1, a 1937 Ford Sanford. The sale will be held at the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department, 44 Main St., Hebron.
Nov, 27Tree LightingHOLIDAY PARADE AND TREE LIGHTING The Fire Truck Holiday Light Parade takes place on Friday at 5:30 p.m., from Memorial Park to Jillson Square in Willimantic. Residents can see local fire trucks decked out with their best holiday lights and enjoy the holiday tree lighting at 6 p.m., at Jillson Square, and visit with Santa following the tree lighting.
