The Windham Region Chamber of Commerce and the Willimantic White Water Partnership sponsor the annual River Fest from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum, Bridge Street, Willimantic. Road race, nature events, activities, battle of the high school bands, river trip, whitewater demonstrations, more. Free admission, some activities have a charge. Volunteers needed.
