The Julian Akus Gallery in the lower level of Shafer Hall, High and Valley streets on the Eastern Connecticut State University campus in Willimantic sponsors an opening art reception from 4 to 7 p.m. to commemorate the opening of the exhibit “Free Thought: Senior Art Exhibition 2008. Features works by senior visual arts majors. Exhibit runs to May 18.
