The South Windham Post Office sponsors a care package event at 1 p.m. at Bob’s Windham IGA, 422 Windham Road, Route 32, Willimantic. Items sent to a military police unit of 30 men and three women in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Cash donations also welcome.
