6:00 - 8:00 p.m. E.O. Smith High School will host the second annual “Cocoa and Cram,” an event designed to help freshmen learn tips from upperclassmen on how to prepare for midterm exams. Peer Natural Helpers, National Honor Society members and students of Future Educators of America will be stationed at tables covering specific core subject areas throughout the cafeteria. Freshmen will have the opportunity to go from table to table getting tips from their older counterparts on how to study for comprehensive exams, something that most freshmen will be experiencing for the first time in their school careers. The school will provide hot cocoa and we are asking parents, faculty and staff to donate baked goods for the kids to snack on while they study. If you have any questions or you would like to bring an edible donation please contact Shannon Cartier at (860)487-0877, ext. 4926 or at scartier@eosmith.org
