9:30 a.m. - noon. is a hands-on archaeology program for children entering grades 4 through 7 presented by the Lebanon Historical Society. Participants will visit the circa 1780 Beaumont House to discover how dishes and other artifacts ended up in the ground. They will also use an archaeological site report to learn what professional archaeologists look for and how they record finds. The session will conclude with a full-scale mock archaeological dig. Materials fee - $3. Pre-registration is required. Materials fees and a non member fee of $3 per program will be charged. Members are free.
