RESULTS OF REFERENDUM
Notice is hereby given that at a referendum held at an Adjourned Town Meeting on August 31, 2010 in the Town of Coventry, County of Tolland, and State of Connecticut, said referendum having been duly warned and called, the following vote was taken on the following questions viz:
1. "Shall the resolution entitled 'Resolution Appropriating $3,350,000 For The Planning, Design, Acquisition And Construction Of A New Public Works Facility And Authorizing The Issuance Of $3,350,000 Bonds Of The Town To Meet Said Appropriation And Pending The Issuance Thereof The Making Of Temporary Borrowings For Such Purpose', as introduced and read at a Special Town Meeting held August 12, 2010, be approved?"

2. "Shall the resolution entitled 'Resolution Appropriating $3,243,000 For Roof Replacement At Capt. Nathan Hale Middle School, George H. Robertson School And Coventry Grammar School And Authorizing The Issuance Of $1,600,000 Bonds Of The Town To Meet Said Appropriation And Pending The Issuance Thereof The Making Of Temporary Borrowings For Such Purpose', as introduced and read at a Special Town Meeting held August 12, 2010, be approved?"

Notice is hereby given that sealed General Construction bids by which EASTCONN will contract for the
Addition and Alterations to
Administration Offices
CT DOE # 253-0091 BE/E
will be received in the Chief Financial & Operations Officers Office in Hampton
until
3:00 pm, Monday, October 4, 2010
when they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting
between prospective bidders and the
Architect will convene in the lobby of the Administration Offices, 376 Hartford Turnpike, Hampton, CT Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 3:00 pm when project details will be discussed and questions answered.
A bid bond for 5% of the base bid cost is required and must accompany each proposal. Bids must be held firm for 120 days beyond the bid opening date.
The successful bidder must file a 100% Performance Bond, a 100% Labor &
Materials Bond and a Certificate of
Insurance with the Chief Financial &
Operations Officer within 10 days of
notice of bid award.
