WINDHAM — According to Connecticut Commissioner of Agriculture Bryan Hurlburt, farms throughout the United States grossed the most money in history from 2021-22.

During a roundtable discussion about the Farm Bill at the Commercially Licensed Cooperative Kitchen in Windham on Friday, he said there needs to be better support and more federal funding for local farm to school programs, which the state is already engaged in with its “limited dollars.”
