Hebron will watch kids while you shop

HEBRON — Shop til you drop — or at least until it’s time to reclaim your kids from the Hebron Parks and Recreation Department.

Recreation staff is offering a night-time care program for children at the Gilead Hill Elementary School, so parents can do holiday shopping or enjoy a date night as a gift to themselves.

Children will be able to participate in arts and crafts, games, and sports and watch a movie — dinner and snacks will also be provided.

Children from preschool through sixth-grade are eligible.

The program will be held on Friday, Dec. 8, with a snow date of Dec. 15, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The cost is $30 per child, plus $5 for each additional sibling.

For more information, or to register a child, call the Hebron Parks and Recreation Office at 860-530-1281.
