HARTFORD — President Donald J. Trump is holding a fundraiser at the famed Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla., and Connecticut Republicans are invited.
Invitations have been circulating among insiders for a Saturday evening reception March 3 that costs $2,700 per person, according to an invitation obtained by Capitol Watch.
Fundraisers who collect $25,000 per person can attend the reception and then have two seats at a dinner with Trump. Those raising $50,000 will attend the reception, have their photo taken with Trump and receive two tickets for the dinner.
The money is being raised by a group called Trump Victory, which is a fundraising committee of both the Republican National Committee and Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.
Besides Trump, the event is being hosted by RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and the new RNC national finance chairman, Todd Ricketts, who succeeded casino mogul Steve Wynn after a controversy over sexual harassment.
